In the first stop on the Professional Women’s Hockey League’s Takeover Tour, la Victoire de Montréal and the Boston Fleet held an open practice at Kraken Community Iceplex in Seattle in preparation for tomorrow’s game at Climate Pledge Arena.
Montreal come into the first game on the Takeover Tour one point in arrears of league leaders Minnesota Frost, while the Fleet have struggled to find results early in the season and sit tied with the New York Sirens in fifth place, seven points off of the lead. The Victoire won the last meeting between the two , 3-1, on New Year’s Eve at Place Bell in Laval, QC. The Fleet come in winless in their last three, garnering just an overtime point against the Frost at the Xcel Energy Center on January 2nd, and will be looking to break that skein in Seattle.
